Update 2021-02-16 (3): On Tuesday (16 February), the entry ban for travellers from “virus variant areas” was extended until 03 March. The countries affected include the United Kingdom, South Africa and Brazil, as well as Tyrol and the Czech Republic. The regulation essentially amounts to a transport ban. German residents as well as goods traffic and entry by car are exempt from this rule.
