Update 2021-03-03 (2): On Wednesday (03 March), German authorities reported that restrictions on travellers who have stayed in Austria for more than 12 hours within 14 days before entering Italy will remain in force until further notice. Travellers without an urgent reason to travel must register in advance, carry a negative antigen or PCR test, undergo another test within 48 hours of entry, register with a local health authority and be retested at the end of a 14-day self-isolation period.
The restrictions on daily living will remain in effect until at least 06 April. The current risk classification of the Italian regions and the associated restrictions can be viewed at the following link.
