Update 2021-03-16: On Tuesday (16 March), the government of Saxony announced an easing of restrictions on entry from the Czech Republic. As of Wednesday (17 March), all persons who are indispensable for maintaining operations will be allowed to enter. However, they must undergo a daily COVID-19 test, which the employer must provide, in order to be exempt from the quarantine regulations. Saxony thus oriented itself to the requirements of the federal government and the rules currently in force in Bavaria. Crossing the border is also to be made easier for family reasons.
