Update 2021-03-23 (3): After Easter, restrictions on shops in Bavaria are to be eased, the Bavarian Minister President announced on Tuesday (23 March). Shops with a sufficient hygiene concept are then to be allowed to reopen if the 7-day incidence is below 100 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in their district. If the value is between 100 and 200, the so-called Click & Meet will be possible.
Update 2021-03-23 (2): According to further reports, compulsory testing for all travellers to Germany from abroad will be introduced in the near future. To this end, the government has reached an agreement with airlines.
In areas with a 7-day incidence of more than 100 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, the measures are to be further tightened. The exact measures will be determined by local authorities and may include, for example, exit or contact restrictions.
Update 2021-03-23 (1): On Tuesday morning (23 MArch, local time), it was decided to implement a hard lockdown from 01 April to 05 April. This will largely shut down public and economic life. In addition, the current lockdown will be extended until 18 April.
