Update 2021-03-28: According to media reports Sunday (28 March), public gatherings on the religious festivals of Holi, Shab-e-Barat, and Navaratri are banned in the capital New Delhi. In Maharashtra state, a statewide nighttime curfew has been in effect between 08:00 p.m. to 07:00 a.m. (local time) since Saturday (27 March). In addition, gatherings of more than five people are prohibited. All COVID-19 containment measures in the state of Maharashtra are valid until 15 April for the time being.
