Update 2021-04-15: According to media reports from Thursday (15 April), cinemas, shopping centres and the indoor areas of restaurants will reopen as of Monday (19 April). However, in seven municipalities among them the city of Albufeira will continue to apply current restrictions. Four municipalities among them the city of Portimao will even impose tougher COVID-19 restrictions such as closing non-essential businesses and cafés’ outdoor areas.
