Update 2021-04-28 (4): The lockdown in Jammu and Kashmir from 07:00 p.m. (local time) on Thursday (29 April) to 07:00 a.m. (local time) on Monday (03 May) will affect not only Srinagar District but also Anantnag, Baramulla, Budgam, Kulgam, Pulwama, Ganderbal, Jammu, Kathua, Reasi and Udhampur districts, according to further reports.
Update 2021-04-28 (3): The lockdown in Jharkhand will be extended until at least 06 May at 06:00 a.m. (local time). Shops will have to close at 02:00 p.m. (local time) daily. A daily curfew will then come into effect from 03:00 p.m. (local time). From 05:00 a.m. (local time) on Saturday (01 May), Meghalaya will also introduce further restrictions in the cities of Shillong, Jowai and Tura. Public gatherings will be banned for at least ten days until 05:00 a.m. (local time) on 10 May.
Update 2021-04-28 (2): From Thursday (29 April) the night-time curfew in Chandigarh applies between 06:00 p.m. and 05:00 a.m. (local time). In addition, all-day curfews continue on Saturdays and Sundays.
Update 2021-04-28 (1): A lockdown will be in effect in Srinagar District from Thursday (29 April) at 07:00 p.m. (local time) until at least Monday (03 May) at 07:00 a.m. (local time). Exemptions are to be made for some necessary business. Meanwhile, the state of Goa announced a lockdown for the same period.
