Update 2021-05-03 (2): According to media reports from Monday (03 May), Jordan has reopened two border crossings, Al-Omari on the border with Saudi Arabia and the Jaber crossing on the border with Syria. However, strict capacity limits apply for the number of daily travellers and a negative COVID-19 PCR test will continue to be required for entry.
Update 2021-05-03 (1): On Monday (03 May), the Federal Foreign Office points out that in order to enter Jordan, proof of health insurance, which also covers costs resulting from treatment for COVID-19, must be provided.
