Update 2021-05-10 (6): Violent clashes between security forces and Palestinian demonstrators continued on Monday evening (10 May, local time). Demonstrators threw stones and security forces used rubber bullets and stun grenades. Dozens of people are believed to have been injured. The most violent clashes occurred near the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Update 2021-05-10 (4): On Monday evening (10 May, local time), a major fire broke out in the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, possibly in relation to the riots.

Update 2021-05-10 (3): On Monday (10 May), Hamas issued an ultimatum to the Israeli security forces. By 06:00 p.m. (local time), all security forces and settlers would have to leave the Temple Mount and the Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood and all arrested Palestinians would have to be released. Otherwise, there was a threat of further escalation.
During the operations on Monday, stun grenades, tear gas and rubber bullets were used.
