Update 2021-05-20: According to media reports from Thursday (20 May), a relaxation of the COVID-19 restrictions was announced in Saarland. Thus, from 31 May, indoor catering, hotels and campsites will be allowed to reopen, provided a current negative COVID-19 rapid test can be presented. From Monday (24 May), recreational activities with up to 10 participants will be possible again and beach resorts will also be permitted to open for guests who can provide a negative COVID-19 rapid test. The district of Saarlouis remains exempt from these relaxations for the time being.
