Update 2021-05-26 (2): There is more positive news for tourism from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern: From Friday (04 June), travellers from all over Germany will again be allowed to spend their holidays in the northern German state. Day visitors will also be able to come back to the state from 11 June, and owners of holiday flats already from this Friday (28 May), as Minister President Schwesig announced on Wednesday (26 May).
Update 2021-05-26 (1): According to media reports, the ferry between Sassnitz (Rügen) and Rønne on the Danish Baltic Sea island of Bornholm is to resume limited service on Thursday (03 June). The expected return to normal operation is planned for 19 June.
