2021-07-26: According to media reports from Monday (26 July), Assam state officials claim that at least six of its police officers were killed in a border clash with security forces from the state of Mizoram near the town of Vairengte in Mizoram state. Conversely, Mizoram officials claimed that Assam security forces had attacked civilians and damaged vehicles.
