Update 2021-08-11: The lockdown in Melbourne was officially extended on Wednesday (11 August) until at least 19 August. From 06:00 p.m. (local time) on Friday (13 August), residents of the border area between Victoria and New South Wales will need a permit to travel to New South Wales.
The lockdown in New South Wales has now been extended to Dubbo.
