Update 2021-08-24: According to German authorities Tuesday (24 August), travellers fully vaccinated against COVID-19 must spend seven days in quarantine at a government facility upon arrival in Vietnam, followed by seven days of self-isolation. Travellers not vaccinated against COVID-19 must serve a 14-day quarantine at a government facility. Vaccination records must be presented in paper form. Individuals are considered fully vaccinated if their second vaccination was administered at least 14 days prior to entry and no more than 12 months prior to entry. In Ho-Chi-Minh-City, a complete military-controlled curfew is in effect, supplies are provided by security forces, and leaving one’s accommodation is currently strictly prohibited.
