Update 2021-08-29: On Sunday evening (29 August, local time), riots broke out again at the border fence. Demonstrators burnt tyres and threw explosive devices. Security forces used live ammunition, rubber bullets, tear gas and stun grenades. Numerous Palestinians were injured. The evening protests are expected to continue until Thursday (02 August), starting at around 08:00 p.m. (local time) each evening.
