Update 2021-08-31 (2): The Berlin Senate decided on Tuesday (31 August) that the alert system used in the city to estimate the pandemic situation will consider hospital occupancy rates in the future. Clubs and discos in the capital will be allowed to resume service, subject to the 2G rule for vaccinated and recovered individuals. In this context, masks are no longer required indoors in clubs and discos.
Update 2021-08-31 (1): Starting Thursday (02 September), a new COVID-19 decree will be in effect in Bavaria. At a seven-day incidence of 35, the so-called 3G rule will apply. Access to many public and private facilities will then be limited to those vaccinated against COVID-19, those who have recovered, or those with a current, negative COVID-19 test. This excludes private premises, commercial retail, and public transportation. In the future, measures to contain COVID-19 in Bavaria will be based on hospital occupancy rates and other indicators. In addition, so-called medical masks are equal to FFP2 masks. Further information can be found in the link below.
