Update 2021-09-08: According to media reports on Wednesday (08 September), unvaccinated individuals in Austria will again be required to wear a mask in retail stores nationwide as of 15 September, regardless of the level of infection. Access to restaurants, bars, nightclubs, theaters and other cultural and sports facilities will in future only be possible with a negative COVID-19 PCR test or proof of vaccination.
