Update 2021-11-25: According to media reports from late Thursday (25 November), South Africa, Namibia, Lesotho, Botswana, Eswatini and Zimbabwe will be classified as red and flights from these countries be banned from Friday noon (26 November). Additionally, UK nationals from these countries will have to quarantine on arrival. The reason for these restrictions is the emergence of a concerning new COVID-19 variant.
