Update 2021-12-07: As of Wednesday (08 December), the negative PCR test that must be presented upon entry into Malaysia must only be up to 48 hours old. Persons entering via the Vaccinated Travel Lane, Langkawi International Travel Bubble or One Stop Centre must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and must self-test on the second, fourth and sixth day after entry and have a professional test on the third and fifth after entry. The test results must be reported via the MySejahtera platform.
People entering from countries where cases of the Omicron variant have been confirmed are electronically monitored during the post-entry quarantine. The duration of quarantine depends on the vaccination status.
