Update 2021-12-13 (2): On Monday (13 December), Western Australia authorities announced that international air travel will be restored from 05 February 2022. This would herald the opening of the country, which has been closed for almost two years. Fully vaccinated travellers will be allowed to fly to the state with one PCR test before and two after entry. Unvaccinated travellers will be subject to a 14-day quarantine. For more details, see the link below.

Update 2021-12-13 (1): According to media reports from Monday (13 December), fully vaccinated travellers are again permitted to enter Queensland without having to undergo quarantine. However, a negative COVID-19 PCR test, no older than 72 hours, must still be provided and a second test must be performed on day five after entry.
