Portugal, Epidemic, Level 4: COVID-19 pandemic – Portugal [Update 222]

Update 2022-02-17 (2): According to media reports from Thursday evening (17 February), among other things, the 3G rule (vaccinated, tested, recovered) for visiting hotels, restaurants and other establishments will be lifted. 

Update 2022-02-17 (1): As was announced by the government on Thursday (17 February), Portugal will move from a national State of Calamity (‘estado de calamidade’) to a State of Alert (‘situação de alerta’) within the coming days. The state of alert will remain in force until 7 March. All COVID-19 restrictions that are currently still in place are then set to be lifted within the next 5 weeks.
