Update 2022-03-14: Fire broke out in a high-rise building in the north of Kyiv after a Russian attack. At least two people had been killed. In addition, the Crimean peninsula and the Donbass in eastern Ukraine are now said to be connected by a land corridor. According to Ukrainian sources, Russian troops are also preparing new offensives, such as on Kharkiv in the east, Sumy in the northeast and on Kyiv’s suburb of Browary. In the Luhansk region, Russian troops are said to be concentrating on advancing towards the city of Sjewjerodonetsk. The east and south of the city would be controlled by pro-Russian separatists. According to Ukrainian sources, however, Russian troops had withdrawn from Topolske and Shpakivka.
