Germany, Strike, Level 4: Strike of security staff at several airports on 14 and 15 March – Germany [Update 5]

Update 2022-03-14 (5): The strike will also affect Munich Airport from Monday (14 March) at 2 pm until midnight on Tuesday (15 March, local times).

Update 2022-03-14 (4):  According to media, the airport operator Fraport has called on all guests who wanted to board flights in Frankfurt on Tuesday (15 March) not to travel to the airport. According to Fraport, there would be no possibility to reach planned flights during the strike. Transit processes are expected to be delayed due to passengers changing planes.

Update 2022-03-14 (3): According to media reports on Monday (14 March), the warning strike will be extended to four more airports on Tuesday (15 March). Workers at passenger controls at the airports of Frankfurt, Hamburg, Stuttgart and Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden have been called on to temporarily stop work on Tuesday (15 March). In Frankfurt, only transit passengers are to be processed.

Update 2022-03-14 (2): On Monday (14 March) at least half of all regular flights at Cologne/Bonn Airport were cancelled.

Update 2022-03-14 (1): At least 114 flights were cancelled at Düsseldorf Airport on Monday (14 March).
