Update 2022-03-30: Strike action will take place on Saturday (16 April) and Sunday (17 April) with only very few trains in operation. TransPennine called on customers not to travel on either of those days.
2022-03-26: Strikes at TransPennine Express will take place on most Sundays until 05 June. In addition, there will be strikes on 16 and 30 April and 04 June. No strikes have been announced for May so far, except for 01 May.

In case of a strike, major traffic disruptions are to be expected. Delays and cancellations are likely. Before and after official strike hours, disruptions are also possible due to organisational reasons. Passengers are advised to contact their tour operator about the current status in advance to their journey and to schedule additional time for their journey.
