Update 2022-05-18: According to Ukrainian sources, Russian troops shelled the Sumy and Chernihiv regions on Wednesday (18 May). The border village of Shosta was shelled with mortars. Near the city of Kharkiv, Ukrainian units liberated the village of Dementiyivka. However, Russian units are said to be counterattacking near Ternova, northeast of Kharkiv. Near Slowjanks, fighting would also take place for the village of Dowhenke. Heavy fighting would continue near Lyman, Bachmut, Awdijiwka and near Sjewjerodonezk.
