Update 2022-08-09: According to the sources, on Tuesday (9 August), at least seven people died after heavy rainfall flooded roads and subways in Seoul.

2022-08-08: According to reports on Monday (8 August), there was damage in the center of the country after heavy rains. In the south of Seoul, there were power outages and parts of the subway could not run. Residents of low-lying areas had to leave their homes. No personal injuries were reported. Further rainfall was forecast.
Traffic disruptions are to be expected, floods and landslides are possible. Travellers should exercise heightened caution, especially near rivers and mountainslopes, and follow instructions by authorities.
