Update 2022-10-19: According to reports from Wednesday (19 October), easyJet has issued a travel warning due to the strike planned for Friday (21 October). They have stated that passengers flying to and from Italy may be impacted by the nationwide strike and that travellers should plan extra time to get to and from the airport and to check the status of their flight prior to their scheduled departure time. easyJet is also advising customers whose flights are cancelled to not travel to the airport and to instead transfer their flight or request a refund. It has also been reported that ITA Airways has already cancelled at least 200 flights scheduled for Friday, and certain international flights from Rome and Milan have also already been cancelled (21 October). The air traffic control staff strike is expected to last 24 hours beginning on Friday (21 October).
