Update 2022-10-26: According to reports from Wednesday (26 October), the Hanyang district of Wuhan has been put under lockdown due to confirmed cases of COVID-19. The approximately 900,000 residents of the district have been told to remain in their homes during the lockdown. Additionally, all non-essential businesses will remain closed during the lockdown, while supermarkets and pharmacies will remain open. The lockdown is scheduled to last until Sunday (30 October). Lockdown measures have also been imposed in Datong in Shanxi and additional COVID-19 control measures have been put in place in Guangzhou.
