2022-10-27: On Saturday (29 October) and between Friday (4 November) and Thursday (10 November) major train strikes will take place in the United Kingdom. The strikes are organized by Unite, Aslef, the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT) and the Transport Salaried Staffs’ Association (TSSA). On Saturday (29 October), workers of ScotRail will strike. The Eurostar will also be affected by the strike between Saturday (5 November) and Thursday (10 November).
In case of a strike, major traffic disruptions are to be expected. Delays and cancellations are likely. Before and after official strike hours, disruptions are also possible due to organisational reasons. Passengers are advised to contact their tour operator about the current status in advance to their journey and to schedule additional time for their journey.
