Update 2022-10-27 (3): According to reports from Thursday (27 October), several civilians were killed in junta strikes in Pekin Kaw Khuu village in Loikaw Township in Kayah State on Wednesday (26 October). It has been reported that as of Wednesday (26 October), over 2,000 people have been killed by junta forces since the coup last year.
Update 2022-10-27 (2): Media reported on Thursday (27 October), that at least ten Burmese security forces were either killed or injured, when they drove over a landmine planted by rebels in the village of Khawmawi near the border to Mizoram, India. Gunfire could also be heard in the nearby village Zhokawtar.
Update 2022-10-27 (1): According to the sources from Thursday (27 October), more than dozens of Myanmar junta forces were killed and their camps were occupied as the People’s Defense Force groups (PDFs) and ethnic armed organizations (EAOs) continued to fight the regime targets across the country. Incidents were reported in several places – Karen, Mon and Chin states and Sagaing, Mandalay and Magwe regions.
