2022-11-16: According to the sources, a series of bomb attacks took place on Tuesday (15 November) in Pattani Province. Reportedly, one person sustained injuries at around 8:05 pm (local time) after a bomb detonated on a petrol pump near Pattani bus terminal in Tambon Bana of Mueang District. Additionally, another bomb exploded at a petrol station on Highway 42 in Tambon Piya Mumang of Yaring District.
Heightened security measures and operations of security forces are to be expected. Armed clashes are possible during arrests of terror suspects. Travellers are advised to exercise high caution, to strictly avoid operations of security forces, and to follow instructions from security forces.
