Update 2023-02-08 (2): According to reports from Wednesday (8 February), around 360,000 residents of Odesa are still without power after the significant outage which occurred this past week. It has been reported that some residents only have power for several hours a day. President Zelenskyy has reportedly stated that there have been indications that Russian forces are preparing a symbolic escalation of fighting close to or on the first anniversary of the invasion on 24 February.
Update 2023-02-08 (1): According to Russian media sources, several people sustained injuries on Tuesday (7 February) following the firing of dozens of artillery shells and munitions by Ukrainian forces in Oleksandrivka, Gorlovka, Donetsk, Zaytsevo, Mayorsk, Makeyevka, Mineralne, Novobakhmutovka, and Yasinovataya.
