Update 2023-08-20 (2): According to the sources, over a hundred flights to and from the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in Arizona were cancelled on Sunday (20 August). Destinations like San Diego, Las Vegas, Burbank, and Los Angeles are affected as all the areas are in the path of Hurricane Hilary. Reportedly, there are also cancelled flights at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Update 2023-08-20 (1): According to the sources, an evacuation alert has been issued on San Bernardino County, California, for several mountains and foothill communities following the storm on Saturday (19 August). An evacuation shelter has been opened for impacted residents at Redlands East Valley High School, at 31000 E. Colton Avenue in Redlands. Following the severe weather, visitors are prohibited in Joshua Tree National Park and Mojave National Preserve in California by The US National Park Service. Meanwhile, heavy rainfall and mighty wind will likely strike from Sunday (20 August) to Monday (21 August). Reportedly a state emergency was declared in San Diego, Southern California.
