Reportedly, the storm brought lightning and winds reaching up to 100 kmph, while falling trees and dozens of landslides were reported. Meanwhile, the power outage affected Congonhas airport, leading to halted flights; some neighbourhoods also experienced up to 16 hours of electricity disruption, with the most affected areas in the west and south, as Enel, the energy supply company, worked on gradual restoration.
