Update 2023-12-05: According to the sources from Monday (4 December), at least one person was killed following shelling in Mone town. Moreover, junta airstrikes and shelling were reported in Kyaukkyi Township, Bago Region, have been carried out by the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) and its opposition supporters. Communities in the townships of Waw and Kyaukkyi have also been affected by airstrikes and shelling since Saturday (2 December). Reportedly, the junta has cut off communications in Mone town as residents are trapped in the town.
