Update 2023-12-05: According to sources from Tuesday evening (5 December, local time), Russia launched combat drones towards the south of the Odessa Region, while similar drones were observed flying westward over the Mykolaiv Region. Moreover, Ukrainian forces successfully intercepted and shot down a Russian Sukhoi Su-24 fighter bomber over the western Black Sea, near Snake Island. According to reports, the downed aircraft was accompanied by another jet, which was believed to be preparing to launch rockets into the Odessa area.
