2024-02-21: At least one Chinese national was killed on Tuesday (20 February) at around 4:15 am (local time) after a house bus caught fire in the Blue Spur locality near Hokitika town of Westland District, West Coast Region. Further investigation remains ongoing to determine the cause of the incident.
