Update 2024-05-02: According to the sources from Wednesday (1 May), several international aid workers from the World Central Kitchen charity were killed following an Israeli airstrike targeted a car shortly after delivering aid in the northern Gaza Strip while returning from a mission that involved distributing supplies. Reportedly, the victims were identified as British, Australian, and Polish nationals, including at least one Palestinian national. Additionally, Israeli forces conducted a series of attacks on Wednesday evening (1 May, local time) across the Gaza Strip. Reportedly, at least one person was killed, while several others were injured after a house was bombed by Israeli warplanes in the central Gaza Strip, specifically the Nuseirat refugee camp. Moreover, at least one person was killed following an artillery attack in Al Fukkhari town in the southern Gaza Strip. Furthermore, airstrikes targeted a house in the “Six Martyrs” neighbourhood north of the Jabalia refugee camp. Other areas affected included Al-Mughraqa town and the headquarters of the electricity distribution company in Az-Zawayda, in the central Gaza Strip. The attacks also caused significant destruction.
