Update 2024-05-17: At least one unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was destroyed over the sea, while another exploded on Friday morning (17 May, local time) in the Ga’aton area in Western Galilee. No explosions or injuries were reported on the ground. A series of sirens warning of the infiltration of hostile aircraft and of rocket fire were heard in Nahariya and the surrounding area early Friday morning (17 May, local time).
