Update 2024-06-18: According to reports, clashes broke out between government forces and AA militants near Thaing Chaung in the Kyaukphyu Township of Rakhine State on Monday (17 June). The AA had carried out an attack against a naval base in Rakhine prior to the clashes. Multiple soldiers were killed in the attack.
