Update 2024-07-04 (2): According to media reports on Thursday (4 July), the Ukrainian armed forces have surrendered the easternmost part of the small town of Chassiv Yar (Donetsk). For the Russian troops, the capture of the town means a better position in the potential advance on the conurbation around Kostyantynivka. Furthermore, renewed attacks on Dnipro were reported, in which at least one person died. The Zaporizhzhya region also experienced at least 391 attacks in the past 24 hours, in which two people were killed in the districts of Vasyliv and Pologiv.
Update 2024-07-04 (1): Russian troops conducted artillery and drone attacks overnight on Thursday (4 July) in Nikopol and the Chervonohryhorivka areas of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. At least one person was injured, and material damage was also reported. Additionally, several people were killed and at least one person was injured on Thursday (4 July) in Zaporizhzhia Oblast during a Russian attack.
