2024-07-15: A violent clash during protest was reported on Monday (15 July) in the capital city Dublin. Reportedly, the protesters damaged several security forces vehicles and set machinery and construction materials on fire at the site. The crowd threw bricks and launched fireworks at the security officials. The security officials used pepper spray to disperse the crowd. Moreover, at least one security official was injured during the protest.
