Update 2024-07-23: According to the sources from Tuesday (23 July), the railroad line between Visp and Zermatt in Valais will remain closed until at least 26 August. Reportedly, the track was heavily damaged by storms and floods, with the Vispa River and its tributaries washing mud and debris onto the tracks. Despite the challenging repair work, rail replacement buses run between Visp and Täsch, while a shuttle train runs between Täsch and Zermatt.
