Germany, Transport Incident, Level 3: Flight operations suspended in Frankfurt Airport (FRA) due to a protest on 25 July – Hesse, Germany [Update 1]

Update 2024-07-25 (1): According to the latest reports from Thursday (25 July), flights are being diverted to Munich, Cologne, and Düsseldorf airports. Passengers were advised to not travel to the airport, check their flight status before travelling to the airport and schedule additional time for their journey.

2024-07-25: Due to a protest by climate activists, flight operations at Frankfurt Airport (FRA) were suspended on Thursday (25 July). The runways runway 18 West, center runway 25C and runway south 25L are directly affected by the protests.
Further air traffic disruptions are possible. Passengers travelling via the affected airport are advised to contact their airline or tour operator about the current flight status in advance to their journey to the airport.
