Update 2024-07-31 (2): According to Ukrainian reports, the night-time attacks on Wednesday morning (31 July, local time) were the heaviest bombardments of the entire year so far. In addition to the capital Kiev, numerous other cities were also shelled, with the regions of Kharkiv, Donetsk and Kherson being particularly affected. At least four people were killed, and higher casualty figures cannot yet be ruled out.
