Update 2024-08-05: According to the sources from Monday (5 August), a violent clash erupted between security officials and anti-immigration protesters at the housing asylum seeker at Holiday Inn Express Hotel in Tamworth, northeast of Birmingham. The protesters hurled projectiles, smashed windows, started fires, and targeted security officials, resulting in at least one security official being injured.
