Update 2024-10-30 (3): At least one person was killed, while another was injured on Wednesday (30 October) at around 4 pm (local time) after Russian troops carried out attacks on the village of Kucherivka in Kupiansk District, Kharkiv Oblast. Russian forces also launched artillery and drone strikes on several communities in the Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts, causing damage to multiple infrastructures, including gas pipelines, power lines, and other properties.
Update 2024-10-30 (2): According to the latest media reports, the Russian armed forces are also advancing further in the Kharkiv region: On Wednesday (30 October), it was announced that the village of Krugliakivka (20 km south of Kupiansk) had been captured by Russian troops.
Update 2024-10-30 (1): At least four people were killed in a glide bomb attack on Kharkiv overnight Wednesday (29/30 October, local time). In the morning (local time), explosions were also heard again in Kherson. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian air defence announced that it had shot down at least 33 of 62 Russian drones over Ukrainian territory. (This is comparatively far fewer than on an average night.)
