Update 2025-01-09: Several people died on Wednesday (8 January) following the out-of-control wildfire that has spread to a significant area. Reportedly, the flames have now spread to the Hollywood Hills and are threatening the famous Hollywood Boulevard. Moreover, the strong winds are driving the flames towards the densely populated coastal region. Rescue efforts are being made more difficult by extreme weather conditions.
