Update 2025-01-26 (2): On Sunday (26 January), the Herminia storm caused significant disruptions across southern England, including Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Dorset, Oxfordshire, and Berkshire. Flood alerts are active, ferry and hover services are cancelled, and train delays persist. Hundreds of residents face power outages.

Update 2025-01-26 (1): On Sunday (26 January), air, rail and road traffic continued to be disrupted as a result of the damage caused by Storm Éowyn and persistent gale-force winds caused by Storm Herminia. In the morning hours, over 20,000 households in Scotland were still affected by power cuts and train services in Scotland were gradually resuming. In rural areas of Scotland, the power cuts could continue for several days. Nationwide, over 100,000 households were still affected by power cuts on Sunday (26 January). Local flooding is also still possible due to heavy rainfall.
