2025-03-09: Many were reported injured, while significant damage was also reported on Sunday night (9 March, local time) following violent clashes between two groups near Jama Masjid area in the town of Mhow in Indore District, Madhya Pradesh. Reportedly, the clashes began near Jama Masjid area and later spread to other areas, including Manek Chowk, Sewa Marg, Market Chowk and Rajesh Mohalla. Stone pelting and arson attacks were reported in the clashes. Vehicles and shops were reportedly set on fire. Security forces used baton charges and tear gas to contain the violence. Additional security forces have been deployed in the area.
